Dynasty of Kṣatravṛddha: Kāśi Kings, Dhanvantari, Rajī’s Sons, and the Transition to Nahuṣa
It states that Dyumān is remembered by the name Pratardana, placing him in the royal lineage descending from Ketumān through Bhīmaratha and Divodāsa.
He traces the dynasties to show how dharma-bearing rulers appear in history and to connect major personalities and events within the Bhagavatam’s sacred timeline.
They can cultivate श्रद्धा (faith) by hearing sacred history, remember that life is part of a larger divine narrative, and reflect on responsibility and dharma in one’s own family line.
