Transliteration

kiṁ svalpa-tapasāṁ nṝṇām arcāyāṁ deva-cakṣuṣām darśana-sparśana-praśna- prahva-pādārcanādikam

Translation

Paano nangyari na ang mga taong tulad naming kaunti ang pag-austeridad—na nakakakita sa Diyos lamang sa anyong Arca sa templo—ay ngayon nakikita kayo, nahahawakan, nakapagtatanong, nakayuyuko, nakasasamba sa inyong mga paa, at nakapaglilingkod sa iba pang paraan?
