Kṛṣṇa’s Queens, Their Sons, and Balarāma’s Victory over Rukmī at Dice
Aniruddha–Rocanā Marriage Context
अन्ये निर्भिन्नबाहूरुशिरसो रुधिरोक्षिता: । राजानो दुद्रवर्भीता बलेन परिघार्दिता: ॥ ३८ ॥
anye nirbhinna-bāhūru- śiraso rudhirokṣitāḥ rājāno dudravar bhītā balena paṅghārditāḥ
Pinahirapan ng pamalo ni Panginoong Balarama, ang ibang mga hari ay tumakas sa takot, ang kanilang mga braso, hita at ulo ay nabali at ang kanilang mga katawan ay basang-basa sa dugo.
This verse depicts Balarāma overwhelming opposing kings with His club, causing them to flee in fear—highlighting His divine, irresistible power.
They were struck down and terrified by Balarāma’s force in the conflict surrounding Kṛṣṇa’s marriage events, so they retreated to save their lives.
Stand firmly with dharma and protect what is right; arrogance and aggression ultimately collapse when confronted by steadfast strength and righteousness.
