The Slaying of Narakāsura (Bhaumāsura), Rescue of the Princesses, and the Pārijāta Episode Begins
This verse shows that each princess inwardly fixed her heart on Kṛṣṇa as her husband, praying that Providence would sanction it—highlighting bhakti as an inner, deliberate surrender.
Although their hearts chose Kṛṣṇa, they acknowledged divine arrangement (dhātā) and social-dharmic sanction, expressing humility and dependence on God’s will within the narrative of their rescue and marriage.
Make devotion intentional: choose Kṛṣṇa inwardly through prayer and remembrance, and accept outcomes as guided by higher providence while acting responsibly in one’s duties.
