Kṛṣṇa Arrives at Kuṇḍina and Abducts Rukmiṇī

Rukmiṇī-haraṇa Prelude

सा तं प्रहृष्टवदनमव्यग्रात्मगतिं सती । आलक्ष्य लक्षणाभिज्ञा समपृच्छच्छुचिस्मिता ॥ २९ ॥

sā taṁ prahṛṣṭa-vadanam avyagrātma-gatiṁ satī ālakṣya lakṣaṇābhijñā samapṛcchac chuci-smitā

Nang makita ni Rukmiṇī, ang banal at bihasa sa pagbasa ng mga palatandaan, ang masayang mukha at payapang kilos ng brāhmaṇa, nagtanong siya na may dalisay na ngiti.
