Rukmiṇī’s Message Begins
तन्मे भवान् खलु वृत: पतिरङ्ग जाया- मात्मार्पितश्च भवतोऽत्र विभो विधेहि । मा वीरभागमभिमर्शतु चैद्य आराद् गोमायुवन्मृगपतेर्बलिमम्बुजाक्ष ॥ ३९ ॥
tan me bhavān khalu vṛtaḥ patir aṅga jāyām ātmārpitaś ca bhavato ’tra vibho vidhehi mā vīra-bhāgam abhimarśatu caidya ārād gomāyu-van mṛga-pater balim ambujākṣa
Kaya, mahal kong Panginoon, Ikaw ang pinili kong asawa at inihahandog ko ang aking sarili sa Iyo. O Makapangyarihan, dumating Ka agad at gawin Mo akong Iyong maybahay. O may matang-loto, huwag hayaang mahawakan ni Śiśupāla ang bahagi ng bayani, gaya ng asong-gubat na nagnanakaw sa pag-aari ng leon.
Rukmini openly declares Krishna as her chosen husband and offers herself fully to Him, illustrating śaraṇāgati—exclusive dependence on the Lord and a plea for His protection.
Because her marriage is being arranged to Śiśupāla against her will; she urges Krishna to come quickly so the unworthy claimant does not seize what belongs to the true hero.
It encourages decisive commitment to one’s spiritual ideal, heartfelt prayer, and trusting Krishna’s protection when faced with pressure, fear, or unwanted influences.
