Nang paalis na si Uddhava, lumapit si Nanda at ang iba pa na may pag-ibig, tangan ang iba’t ibang handog na pangsamba. Luhaan ang kanilang mga mata at sinabi nila ang ganito.
Śrīla Jīva Gosvāmī points out that Nanda and the cowherd men did not approach Uddhava as a formality, but rather out of spontaneous affection for a dear friend of Kṛṣṇa’s.
This verse shows Nanda and the Vraja elders’ intense affection—so strong that they approach Krishna’s messenger with offerings and tearful eyes, revealing their deep parental devotion.
Uddhava was Krishna’s trusted messenger; by honoring him with gifts, they expressed love for Krishna and sought connection with Him through His devotee.
Serve and honor devotees, and keep heartfelt remembrance of the Lord—turning emotion into devotion through sincere prayer, service, and generosity.
