Uddhava Sent to Vraja: Consolation to Nanda-Yaśodā and the Gopīs’ Separation
This verse teaches that when one gives up false ego (amānitva) and bodily identification, the mind stops dividing people into dear and hateful, superior and inferior, and rests in spiritual equality.
In the context of Uddhava’s visit to Vraja after Krishna’s departure, he conveys elevated spiritual understanding—showing that true realization transcends personal bias, attachment, and aversion.
Practice reducing ego-based reactions—pause before labeling people as “for me” or “against me,” remember the soul beyond roles, and cultivate steady respect and compassion in success and conflict alike.
