This verse shows that Krishna’s presence awakens immediate, irresistible bhakti—people abandon ordinary duties like eating, bathing, sleeping, and even momentarily forget bodily concerns as they rush to see Him.
Hearing the commotion of Krishna’s arrival, their natural love and curiosity surged; overwhelmed by joy, they dropped everything to behold Krishna and Balarama entering Mathura.
It teaches prioritizing remembrance and darśana of the Lord—when spiritual opportunity comes (kīrtana, satsanga, hearing hari-kathā), respond promptly rather than postponing for routine comforts.
