vrīhibīje yathā mūlaṃ nālaṃ patrāṅkurau tathā kāṇḍakoṣas tathā puṣpaṃ kṣīraṃ tadvac ca taṇḍulāḥ

ดุจดังในเมล็ดข้าวเปลือกมีราก ลำต้น และใบอ่อนซ่อนอยู่ ฉันใด ในเมล็ดนั้นก็มีปลอกลำต้น ดอก และแก่นน้ำนมอยู่ด้วย; และแม้เมล็ดข้าวสารเองก็มีอยู่ในนั้นโดยสภาพแห่งศักยภาพ ฉันนั้น
