Yogatattva

तेषां मुक्तिकरं मार्गं मायाजालनिकृन्तनम् । जन्ममृत्युजराव्याधिनाशनं मृत्युतारकम् ॥ नानामार्गैस्तु दुष्प्रापं कैवल्यं परमं पदम् । पतिताः शास्त्रजालेषु प्रज्ञया तेन मोहिताः ॥५-६॥

तेषाम् । मुक्तिकरम् । मार्गम् । मायाजाल-निकृन्तनम् । जन्म-मृत्यु-जरा-व्याधि-नाशनम् । मृत्युतारकम् ॥ नाना-मार्गैः । तु । दुष्प्रापम् । कैवल्यम् । परमम् । पदम् । पतिताः । शास्त्र-जालेषु । प्रज्ञया । तेन । मोहिताः ॥५-६॥

teṣāṃ muktikaraṃ mārgaṃ māyājāla-nikṛntanam | janma-mṛtyu-jarā-vyādhi-nāśanaṃ mṛtyu-tārakam || nānā-mārgais tu duṣprāpaṃ kaivalyaṃ paramaṃ padam | patitāḥ śāstra-jāleṣu prajñayā tena mohitāḥ ||5–6||

สำหรับเขาทั้งหลาย มีมรรคที่ก่อให้เกิดโมกษะ ตัดข่ายแห่งมายา ทำลายการเกิด ความตาย ความชรา และโรคภัย และพาข้ามพ้นความตายได้ แต่สภาวะสูงสุดคือไกวัลยะนั้น ยากจะบรรลุด้วยหนทางอันหลากหลาย; เขาทั้งหลายตกอยู่ในข่ายแห่งคัมภีร์ และปัญญาถูกสิ่งนั้นทำให้หลงผิด

For them, [there is] a path that brings liberation, that cuts through the net of māyā—destroying birth, death, old age, and disease, and ferrying one beyond death. Yet the supreme state, kaivalya, is hard to attain by many paths; they have fallen into nets of scriptures, deluded thereby in their understanding.
