Maitreya Upanishad 22 — Verse 22

kāyikādivimukto 'smi nirguṇaḥ kevalo 'smy aham | muktihīno 'smi mukto 'smi mokṣahīno 'smy ahaṃ sadā ||22||

I am freed from the bodily and the rest (i.e., all adjuncts); I am without qualities; I alone am. I am devoid of liberation; I am liberated; I am ever devoid of mokṣa.

Ātman/Brahman as nirguṇa and kevala; transcendence of mokṣa as a conceptual category (Advaita)Mahavakya: Supports ‘ahaṃ brahmāsmi’ and ‘tat tvam asi’ by asserting the self as nirguṇa, non-dual, and beyond all upādhis; also resonates with ‘ayam ātmā brahma’ (self as Brahman)YajurKṛṣṇa-Yajurveda (Maitrāyaṇīya śākhā) ShakhaChandas: Anuṣṭubh (śloka-style)
