เขาทั้งหลายดำเนินตามหนทางที่ศรุติและสมฤติสอนไว้ แม้เกิดในวรรณะต่ำก็ตาม และไม่ยอมรับอาหารหรือเครื่องดื่มใดๆ ที่มิได้อนุมัติตามบัญญัติแห่งสมฤติเลย
