अथ भैरवावतारमाह । नन्दीश्वर उवाच । सनत्कुमार सर्व्वज्ञ शृणु त्वं भैरवीं कथाम् । यस्याः श्रवणमात्रेण शैवी भक्तिर्दृढा भवेत्
atha bhairavāvatāramāha | nandīśvara uvāca | sanatkumāra sarvvajña śṛṇu tvaṃ bhairavīṃ kathām | yasyāḥ śravaṇamātreṇa śaivī bhaktirdṛḍhā bhavet
บัดนี้เราจะกล่าวถึงการอวตารของไภรวะ นันทีศวรกล่าวว่า “โอ้สันตกุมารผู้รอบรู้ จงฟังเรื่องศักดิ์สิทธิ์แห่งไภรวะ เพียงได้ยินก็ทำให้ภักติแด่พระศิวะแน่วแน่มั่นคง”.
