ครั้นสังหารผู้ที่เรียกว่ามหีราวณะแล้ว เขาได้นำพระรามพร้อมพระลักษมณ์กลับออกมาจากสถานที่นั้น และยังพิทักษ์ที่พำนักของตนไว้ ก่อนส่งทั้งสองกลับคืน
