Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Umāpati
Shakti Form: Pārvatī
Role: teaching
It highlights the auspicious mood of divine dialogue: when the soul approaches Pati (Shiva) with receptivity, grace arises—here shown as Pārvatī’s joy and readiness to respond, signaling harmony of Śiva-Śakti that supports dharma and liberation.
By naming Śaṅkara as ‘svapati’ (her own Lord), the verse affirms personal, Saguna relationship with Shiva—an intimate devotion that underlies Linga worship, where the devotee meets Shiva as the gracious Lord who listens and responds.
The takeaway is śravaṇa (reverent listening) leading to bhāva (inner joy) and vākyam (prayerful response). Practically: listen/recite Shiva Purana or Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) with devotion, then offer heartfelt prayer—optionally with Tripuṇḍra bhasma and rudrāksha as Shaiva supports.
