เหล่าฤๅษีกล่าวว่า “ข้าแต่องค์นายผู้เป็นเจ้า งานนี้ท่านพึงกระทำเองเท่านั้น เป็นเช่นนี้และไม่เป็นอย่างอื่น” ครั้นถูกกล่าวดังนั้นแล้ว พระคเณศผู้เป็นเทพจึงตรัสตอบ
