It emphasizes ordered sacred placement—centering the practice on the bindu (inner focus) and extending it outward in a disciplined sequence, reflecting Shaiva Siddhanta’s stress on methodical purification leading the soul (paśu) toward Pati (Shiva).
The instruction concerns arranging sacred marks/diagram elements concentrically and directionally (starting from the east), a typical aid in Saguna Shiva worship where outer ritual order supports inner contemplation of Shiva as the indwelling center.
A yantra/mandala-style inscription: establish the central bindu first, then place surrounding rows in a clockwise directional order from the east—used as a support for mantra-japa and focused meditation.
