Lord Shiva (Sadāśiva) instructing on meditation (as narrated in the Kailāsa Saṃhitā discourse)
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Mantra: सच्चिदानन्दविग्रहम् । निर्गुणं परमं ब्रह्म सदाशिवमनामयम्
Type: stotra
Role: liberating
It directs the seeker to meditate on Sadāśiva as the supreme reality—Satchidānanda itself—revealing Shiva as Pati (the Lord) who transcends the guṇas and grants liberation from bondage and affliction.
While Linga and saguna worship provide a sacred support for devotion and concentration, this verse points to their inner culmination: realizing the same Shiva as nirguṇa Brahman—Sadāśiva—through interior contemplation.
A focused dhyāna practice: withdraw the mind inward and contemplate Shiva as Satchidānanda and nirguṇa Sadāśiva; this can be supported by japa of “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” and inner Linga-bhāvanā (visualizing Shiva within).
