त्रिकद्रुकेभिः पतति षळुर्वीरेकमिद्बृहत् । त्रिष्टुब्गायत्री छन्दांसि सर्वा ता यम आहिता ॥
Transliteration
tríkadrukebhiḥ pátati ṣáḷ urvī́r ékam íd bṛhát | triṣṭúb gāyatrī́ chándāṃsi sárvā tā́ yáme ā́hitā ||
Translation
ด้วยกัทรุกะ (kadruka) สามประการ มันจึงโผบิน; มีความกว้างใหญ่หกชั้น—แต่เป็นมหาความเวิ้งว้างหนึ่งเดียว ตริษฏุภ (Triṣṭubh), คายตรี (Gāyatrī), ฉันทัส (chandas) ทั้งปวง—ทั้งหมดนั้นถูกวางไว้และสถาปนาในยมะ (Yama)
