Sukta 10.104
सप्तापो देवीः सुरणा अमृक्ता याभिः सिन्धुमतर इन्द्र पूर्भित् । नवतिं स्रोत्या नव च स्रवन्तीर्देवेभ्यो गातुं मनुषे च विन्दः ॥
saptā́po devī́ḥ suráṇā́ amṛ́ktā yā́bhiḥ síndhum átara indra pūrbhít | navatíṃ srotyā́ nava ca sravántīr devébhyo gātúṃ mánuṣe ca vindaḥ ||
โอ้อินทระ ผู้ทำลายป้อมปราการ ด้วยนทีทั้งเจ็ดอันเป็นเทวี—ไหลอย่างสูงส่งและบริสุทธิ์ไม่ปน—ท่านได้ข้ามมหานทีดุจมหาสมุทร. ท่านได้ค้นพบหนทางผ่านให้แก่เหล่าเทวะและแก่มนุษย์ด้วย—สายน้ำเก้าสิบสาย และอีกเก้าสายที่ไหลบ่าแล่นริน.
