tato rāmam abhikramya saumitrir abhivādya ca |

tasthau bhrātṛ-samīpasthaḥ śakrasya indrānujo yathā ||

ครั้นแล้วเสามิตรีเสด็จเข้าไปใกล้พระราม ถวายบังคมด้วยความเคารพ และยืนอยู่ใกล้พระเชษฐา—ดุจอุเปนทร์ยืนเคียงข้างศักระ (พระอินทร์)
