इन्द्रजित्–लक्ष्मणयोर् घोरः शरयुद्धः

सतयोःभ्राजतेशब्दस्तदासमरयत्तयोः ।।6.89.31।।सुघोरयोर्निष्टनतोर्गगनेमेघयोरिव ।
sa tayoḥ bhrājate śabdas tadā samarayattayoḥ |
sughorayor niṣṭanatōr gagane meghayor iva || 6.89.31 ||
ครั้นทั้งสองยังรบกันอยู่ เสียงคำรามกึกก้องนั้นก็พลุ่งพรายดังกังวาน ประหนึ่งเสียงครืนของเมฆดำอันน่าหวาดหวั่นสองก้อนก้องสะท้อนทั่วนภา
