The Slaying of Atikāya

ततःस्संज्ञामुपालभ्यचतुर्भिस्सायकोत्तमैः ।।6.71.99।।निजघानहयान्सङ्ख्येसारथिं च महाबलः ।ध्वजस्योन्मथनंकृत्वाशरवर्षैररिन्दमः ।।6.71.100।।

tataḥ saṃjñām upālabhya caturbhiḥ sāyakottamaiḥ |

nijaghāna hayān saṅkhye sārathiṃ ca mahābalaḥ |

dhvajasya unmathanaṃ kṛtvā śaravarṣair arindamaḥ ||6.71.100||

ครั้นแล้วผู้ปราบศัตรูผู้มีกำลังยิ่ง เมื่อได้สติกลับคืน ก็ยิงศรชั้นเลิศสี่ดอกสังหารม้าและสารถีในสนามรบ และยังโปรยศรเป็นห่าฝนจนถอนหักเสาธงรถศึกนั้น
