अकम्पन-प्रेषणम् तथा कपि-राक्षस-रणवर्णनम्

शब्दश्चसुमहांस्तेषांनर्दतामभिधावताम् ।।।।श्रूयतेतुमुलोयुद्धेनरूपाणिचकाशिरे ।

śabdaś ca su-mahāṃs tēṣāṃ nardatām abhidhāvatām | śrūyate tumulo yuddhe na rūpāṇi cakāśire ||

เมื่อพวกเขาคำรามและพุ่งเข้าหากัน เสียงอื้ออึงกึกก้องอันใหญ่หลวงก็ดังกระหึ่มในสนามรบ ทว่าไม่อาจแลเห็นรูปกายของผู้ใดได้ชัด
