सीताविलापः—त्रिजटासान्त्वनं च

Sita’s Lament and Trijata’s Consolation

शोधयित्वाजनस्थानंप्रवृततिमुपलभ्यच ।तीर्त्वासागरमक्षोभ्यंभ्रातरौगोष्पदेहतौ ।।।।

śodhayitvā janasthānaṃ pravṛttiṃ upalabhya ca |

tīrtvā sāgaram akṣobhyaṃ bhrātarau goṣpade hatau ||

ครั้นสืบค้นชนะสถานะและได้ข่าวคราวของเราแล้ว ทั้งยังข้ามมหาสมุทรอันยากจะข้ามและไม่อาจกวนให้หวั่นไหวได้—สองพี่น้องนั้นกลับถูกสังหารเสียแล้ว ราวกับถูกกลอุบายเล็กน้อยดุจรอยกีบโค,” (สีตาคร่ำครวญ)
