समुद्रतट-प्रयाणम् तथा वेलावन-निवेशः
March to the Seacoast and Encampment at the Shore
सा स्म याति दिवारात्रं महती हरिवाहिनी ।प्रहृष्टमुदितास्सेना सुग्रीवेणाभिपालिताः ।।6.4.70।।वानरास्त्वरितं यान्ति सर्वे युद्धाभिनन्दिनः ।प्रमोक्षयिषव स्सीतां मुहूर्तं क्वापि नावसन् ।।6.4.71।।
sā sma yāti divārātraṁ mahatī harivāhinī |
prahṛṣṭamuditāḥ senā sugrīveṇābhipālitāḥ ||
vānarās tvaritaṁ yānti sarve yuddhābhinandinaḥ |
pramokṣayiṣavaḥ sītāṁ muhūrtaṁ kvāpi nāvasan ||
กองทัพวานรอันเกรียงไกร ภายใต้การคุ้มครองของสุครีว ยังคงรุดหน้าไปทั้งวันทั้งคืนด้วยกำลังใจสูงส่ง. ด้วยความยินดีต่อศึกที่ใกล้มา และด้วยเจตนาจะปลดปล่อยนางสีดา พวกเขามิได้หยุดพัก ณ ที่ใดแม้เพียงชั่วครู่.
