ततो विस्मयमापन्ना हरयो ददृशुर्हरयस्तदा ।भ्रान्तोर्मिजालसन्नादं प्रलोलमिव सागरम् ।।।।

tato vismayamāpannā harayo dadṛśur harayas tadā |

bhrāntormijālasannādaṃ pralolam iva sāgaram ||

แล้วเหล่าวานรก็ตกตะลึง ได้เห็นมหาสมุทรที่อื้ออึงด้วยข่ายคลื่นอันพันกันกลิ้งวน กระสับกระส่ายและปั่นป่วนรุนแรง ราวกับกำลังทุกข์ระทม
