माल्यवानुपदेशः—रावणक्रोधः तथा लङ्काद्वाररक्षा-व्यवस्था

हितबुध्यायदहितंवचःपरुषमुच्यते ।परपक्षंप्रनिश्यैवनैतच्च्रोत्रगतंमम ।।।।

hitabuddhyāya dahitaṃ vacaḥ paruṣam ucyate | parapakṣaṃ praniśyaiva naitac chrotragataṃ mama || 6.36.3 ||

เจ้าทำทีเป็นผู้รู้ดี แล้วกล่าวถ้อยคำหยาบกร้านซึ่งมิได้เป็นประโยชน์แก่เรา ประหนึ่งว่าเจ้าเข้าข้างฝ่ายศัตรู เราจะไม่ยอมให้วาจาเช่นนี้ผ่านเข้าสู่โสตของเรา
