Sītā’s Lament over the Illusory Head and Bow

अग्निष्टोमादिभिर्यज्ञैरिष्टवानाप्तदक्षिणैः ।अग्निहोत्रेणसंस्कारंकेनत्वंनतुलप्स्यसे ।।6.32.24।।

agniṣṭomādibhir yajñair iṣṭavān āpta-dakṣiṇaiḥ |

agnihotreṇa saṃskāraṃ kena tvaṃ na tulapsyase ||6.32.24||

ท่านได้บูชายัญอัคนิษโฏมะและยัญอื่น ๆ พร้อมถวายทักษิณาแก่พราหมณ์โดยครบถ้วน แล้วเหตุใดบัดนี้ท่านจึงมิได้รับสังสการสุดท้าย คือพิธีชำระให้บริสุทธิ์อันเกี่ยวเนื่องกับอัคนิโหตร?
