विभीषणागमनम्
Vibhīṣaṇa’s Arrival and the Debate on Refuge
सुग्रीवस्यतुतद्वाक्यंश्रुत्वारामोमहायशाः ।समीपस्थानुवाचेदंहनुमत्प्रमुखान्हरीन् ।।6.17.31।।
sugrīvasya tu tad vākyaṁ śrutvā rāmo mahāyaśāḥ |
samīpasthān uvācedaṁ hanumatpramukhān harīn ||6.17.31||
ครั้นพระรามผู้มีเกียรติยิ่งได้สดับถ้อยคำของสุครีวะแล้ว ก็ตรัสแก่หมู่วานรที่ยืนอยู่ใกล้ โดยมีหนุมานเป็นผู้นำว่า
Rama of great fame having heard the words of Sugriva, addressed the Vanara army including the great Hanuman who stood close by.
Righteous leadership consults the community: a king/leader listens, then seeks counsel before acting, especially in morally complex situations.
After hearing Sugrīva’s suspicion, Rāma turns to Hanumān and the nearby vānaras to frame the issue and invite reasoned discussion.
Rāma’s deliberative wisdom and respect for counsel.
