Vibheeshana, having addressed Ravana in harsh language, reached Rama and Lakshmana in a short while.
Although Vibhishana spoke the truth (Satya), it was perceived as harsh by Ravana because it challenged his ego and unrighteous path. In the context of Dharma, speaking the bitter truth to prevent ruin is an act of tough love, marking the final attempt to correct Adharma before abandoning it.
The swiftness of his departure indicates a decisive moral clarity. Once Vibhishana realized that Ravana was committed to Adharma and would not listen to reason, he did not hesitate to seek the refuge of Rama, prioritizing righteousness over blood relations.
