ครั้นกล่าวถ้อยคำอันแข็งกร้าวต่อทศกัณฐ์แล้ว วิภีษณะน้องชายของเขาก็ไปถึงในชั่วครู่ ณ ที่ซึ่งพระศรีรามประทับพำนักพร้อมพระลักษมณ์
