सीतासमीपगमनम् / Sītā Brought Near to Rāma

अथसमपनुदन्मनःक्लमंसासुचिरमदृष्टमुदीक्ष्यवैप्रियस्य ।वदनमुदितचन्द्रपूर्णकान्तंविमलशशाङ्कनिभाननातदानीम् ।।।।

atha samapanudan manaḥ-klamaṃ sā suciram adṛṣṭam udīkṣya vai priyasya | vadanam udita-candra-pūrṇa-kāntaṃ vimala-śaśāṅka-nibhānanā tadānīm ||

ครั้นนางทอดพระเนตรพระพักตร์ของผู้เป็นที่รัก—ซึ่งมิได้เห็นมาช้านาน สว่างไสวดุจพระจันทร์เพ็ญที่เพิ่งโผล่พ้นขอบฟ้า—ความอ่อนล้าในดวงใจก็สลายไป; และในขณะนั้นเอง พระพักตร์ของนางก็ผ่องดังจันทร์อันบริสุทธิ์ไร้มลทิน
