विभीषणाभिषेकः (Vibhīṣaṇa’s Consecration) and Hanumān’s Commission to Sītā

ततःस्त्वेकंघटंगृह्यसम्स्थाप्यपरमासने ।।।।घटेनतेनसौमित्रिरभ्यषिञ्चद्विभीषणम् ।लङ्कायांरक्षसांमध्येराजानंरामशासनात् ।।।।विधिनामन्त्रदृष्टेनसुहृद्गणसमावृतः ।

tataḥ stv ekaṃ ghaṭaṃ gṛhya saṃsthāpya paramāsane | ghaṭena tena saumitrir abhyaṣiñcad vibhīṣaṇam |

laṅkāyāṃ rakṣasāṃ madhye rājānaṃ rāma-śāsanāt | vidhinā mantra-dṛṣṭena suhṛd-gaṇa-samāvṛtaḥ ||

แล้วสุมิตริ (พระลักษมณ์) ถือหม้อน้ำศักดิ์สิทธิ์หนึ่งใบ เชิญพระวิภีษณะประทับบนราชบัลลังก์อันประเสริฐ แล้วทรงประกอบพิธีอภิเษกด้วยน้ำจากหม้อนั้น ตามพระบัญชาของพระราม ท่ามกลางหมู่ยักษ์ในลงกา โดยพิธีกรรมและมนตร์ตามคัมภีร์ และมีหมู่มิตรสหายรายล้อม

Vibheeshana was made to sit on an excellent seat, surrounded by hosts of friends and dear ones. Thereafter, in the midst of Rakshasas chanting sacred verses in accordance with scriptures, Saumithri took a vessel of water and duly consecrated Vibhishana with the water in the vessel as commanded by Rama, in Lanka.
