Aditya Hridayam Upadeśa — Agastya’s Instruction to Rāma
एनमापत्सुकृच्छ्रेषुकान्तारेषुभयेषु च ।कीर्तयन्पुरुषःकश्चिनावसीदतिराघव ।।6.107.25।।
enam āpatsu kṛcchreṣu kāntāreṣu bhayeṣu ca |
kīrtayan puruṣaḥ kaścin nāvasīdati rāghava ||6.107.25||
โอ้ราฆวะ ผู้ใดสรรเสริญพระองค์ในยามวิบัติ ความลำบาก ในพงไพร และยามหวาดกลัว ผู้นั้นย่อมไม่จมสู่ความสิ้นหวัง
"O Raghava! Anyone praying to him will surely not experience grief in straits, in difficulties, in the woods and in times of fear.
Dharma is perseverance grounded in truth: remembrance of the righteous source prevents collapse into despair during crisis.
Agastya states the benefit of praising Sūrya—mental steadiness and freedom from dejection—directly relevant to Rāma’s battlefield strain.
Steadfastness (dhṛti)—the capacity to endure fear and hardship without abandoning righteous action.
