Aditya Hridayam Upadeśa — Agastya’s Instruction to Rāma

ततोयुद्धपरिश्रान्तंसमरेचिन्तयास्थितम् ।रावणंचाग्रतोदृष्टवायुद्धायसमुपस्थितम् ।।6.107.1।।दैवतैश्चसमागम्यद्रष्टुमभ्यागतोरणम् ।उपागम्याब्रवीद्राममगस्त्योभगवान् ऋषिः ।।6.107.2।।

tato yuddha-pariśrāntaṃ samare cintayā sthitam |

rāvaṇaṃ cāgrato dṛṣṭvā yuddhāya samupasthitam || 6.107.1 ||

daivataiś ca samāgamya draṣṭum abhyāgato raṇam |

upāgamya abravīd rāmaṃ agastyo bhagavān ṛṣiḥ || 6.107.2 ||

ครั้งนั้นแล พระรามผู้เหนื่อยอ่อนจากศึก ยืนอยู่กลางสมรภูมิด้วยพระทัยครุ่นคิด และทอดพระเนตรเห็นทศกัณฐ์ยืนอยู่เบื้องหน้า พร้อมเข้าสู่สงคราม บัดนั้นพระฤๅษีอคัสตยะผู้เป็นภควาน เสด็จมาพร้อมเหล่าเทวะเพื่อทอดพระเนตรศึก ครั้นเข้าไปใกล้แล้วจึงกล่าวแก่พระราม
