मैत्रीप्रतिज्ञा-वैरकारणप्रश्नः
Friendship Vow and Inquiry into the Cause of Enmity
ततः प्रहृष्टवदनस्सुग्रीवो लक्ष्मणाग्रजे।वैरस्य कारणं तत्त्वमाख्यातुमुपचक्रमे।।
tataḥ prahṛṣṭa-vadanaḥ sugrīvo lakṣmaṇāgraje |
vairasya kāraṇaṁ tattvam ākhyātum upacakrame ||
แล้วสุครีพผู้มีพักตร์ผ่องใสด้วยความยินดี ก็เริ่มกราบทูลแก่พี่ใหญ่ของพระลักษมณ์ ถึงความจริงอันเป็นเหตุแห่งความเป็นศัตรู
