वैनतेयस्य या शक्तिर्मम सा मारुतस्य वा।।4.67.23।।ऋते सुपर्णराजानं मारुतं वा महाजवम्।न तद्भूतं प्रपश्यामि यन्मां प्लुतमनुव्रजेत्।।4.67.24।।
vainateyasya yā śaktir mama sā mārutasya vā ||4.67.23||
ṛte suparṇarājānaṃ mārutaṃ vā mahājavam |
na tadbhūtaṃ prapaśyāmi yan māṃ plutam anuvrajet ||4.67.24||
กำลังแห่งการเหาะเหินดังของไวเนเตยะ (ครุฑ) หรือดังของมารุตะคือเทพวายุ นั่นแลเป็นของข้า เว้นแต่ราชาแห่งนกและลมผู้เร็วกล้า ข้าไม่เห็นผู้ใดจะรักษาจังหวะตามข้าได้ เมื่อข้ากระโจนผ่านเวหา
