सुग्रीवस्य शतवलि-प्रेषणम्

Sugriva’s Commission to Satavali for the Northern Search

गभस्तिभिरिवार्कस्य स तु देशः प्रकाशते।विश्राम्यद्भिस्तपस्सिद्धैर्देवकल्पैः स्वयंप्रभैः।।।।

gabhastibhir ivārkasya sa tu deśaḥ prakāśate |

viśrāmyadbhis tapas-siddhair devakalpaiḥ svayaṃprabhaiḥ ||

แต่แผ่นดินนั้นสว่างไสวประหนึ่งต้องรัศมีสุริยัน เพราะมีฤๅษีผู้สำเร็จด้วยตบะ ดุจเทพ และส่องประกายด้วยตนเอง พักพิงอยู่ ณ ที่นั้น

'Passing that region you will reach a mountain stream called Sailoda. On both the banks of the stream are bamboo groves called Kichakas. They waft the siddhas to and from the river. (Kichakas bend forward forming an arch and thus help sages to cross the river.)
