Hanuman, who was an elephant among monkeys, gave up the guise of a mendicant, and assuming the form of the monkeys, lifted both the heroes on to his back and proceeded.
Selfless service (sevā) in support of dharma: Hanumān uses his strength and abilities to protect and assist Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa without self-interest.
After speaking in disguise, Hanumān reveals his true form and physically carries Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa onward, facilitating their meeting with Sugrīva.
Hanumān’s devotion and readiness to act—swift, practical help aligned with righteous purpose.
