वर्षासमयकालं तु प्रतिज्ञाय हरीश्वरः।व्यतीतांश्चतुरो मासान्विहरन्नावबुध्यते।।
varṣāsamayakālaṃ tu pratijñāya harīśvaraḥ |
vyatītāṃś caturō māsān viharann āvabudhyate ||
วานราธิราชได้ปฏิญาณว่าจะลงมือเมื่อกาลฤดูฝนล่วงพ้น แต่เมื่อมัวรื่นเริงสำราญ ก็หาได้รู้สึกไม่ว่าเวลาสี่เดือนผ่านไปแล้ว
