द्वितीयः सर्गः (Sarga 2): Sugriva’s Alarm and Hanuman’s Commission

नैव चक्रे मनः स्थातुं वीक्षमाणो महाबलौ।कपेः परमभीतस्य चित्तं व्यवससाद ह।।

naiva cakre manaḥ sthātuṃ vīkṣamāṇo mahābalau | kapeḥ paramabhītasya cittaṃ vyavasasāda ha ||

ครั้นเห็นวีรบุรุษผู้มีกำลังยิ่งใหญ่ทั้งสองนั้น วานร (สุครีพ) ก็ไม่อาจตั้งจิตให้มั่นได้; ด้วยความหวาดกลัวอย่างยิ่ง ใจของเขาจึงทรุดลง
