apṛṣṭvā buddhisampannān vṛddhān ācārya-sammatān | saumya vānaracāpalyāt kiṃ mām vaktum iha icchasi ||

โอ้ ผู้มีใจอ่อนโยน! โดยมิได้ไต่ถามบรรดาผู้มีปัญญา—เหล่าผู้อาวุโสที่อาจารย์ทั้งหลายยอมรับ—เหตุใดเจ้าจึงปรารถนาจะกล่าวกับเราที่นี่ด้วยความหุนหันพลันแล่นอันช่างซุกซนดุจวานร?
