Rama’s Justification to Vali on Rājadharma

एवमुक्तस्तु रामेण वाली प्रव्यथितो भृशम्।।न दोषं राघवे दध्यौ धर्मेऽधिगतनिश्चयः।

Transliteration

evam uktaḥ tu rāmeṇa vālī pravyathito bhṛśam | na doṣaṃ rāghave dadhyau dharme ’dhigataniścayaḥ ||

Translation

เมื่อถูกรามตรัสดังนี้ วาลีเจ็บปวดอย่างยิ่ง; แต่ครั้นได้ความแน่ชัดในธรรมแล้ว เขาก็มิได้เห็นโทษใดๆ ในราฆวะอีกต่อไป
