Kiṣkindhā Sarga 17

न तेऽस्त्यपचितिर्धर्मे नार्थे बुद्धिरवस्थिता।।इन्द्रियैः कामवृत्तस्सन्कृष्यसे मनुजेश्वर।

na te 'sty apacitir dharme nārthe buddhir avasthitā | indriyaiḥ kāmavṛttaḥ san kṛṣyase manujeśvara ||

โอ้เจ้าเหนือมนุษย์ ท่านหาได้มีความเคารพต่อธรรมะไม่ และปัญญาของท่านก็ไม่มั่นคงแม้ในเรื่องอรรถะ; เมื่อประพฤติตามกามด้วยอำนาจอินทรีย์ ท่านย่อมถูกอินทรีย์ของตนเองฉุดลากไป
