ततस्ते कारणं सर्वं तदा शापं च वालिनः।शशंसुर्वानरास्सर्वे वालिने हेममालिने4.11.61।।

ครั้นแล้ววานรทั้งปวงได้กราบทูลแก่พญาวาลีผู้สวมพวงมาลาทองคำ ถึงเหตุทั้งสิ้นโดยพิสดาร และทั้งคำสาป (ศาป) ที่ได้ประกาศเกี่ยวกับพระองค์ด้วย
