शृणु लक्ष्मण सन्नादं वने मद्विवर्धनम्।पुष्पिताग्रेषु वृक्षेषु द्विजानामुपकूजताम्।।।।

śṛṇu lakṣmaṇa sannādaṃ vane madvivardhanam | puṣpitāgreṣu vṛkṣeṣu dvijānām upakūjatām ||

จงฟังเถิด ลักษมณะ เสียงก้องกังวานในพนานี้—อันยิ่งเพิ่มพูนความรักในใจข้า—คือเสียงนกทั้งหลายขับขานแผ่วเบาบนยอดไม้ที่ประดับด้วยดอกบาน
