ครั้นพระวิศวามิตรทรงสดับถ้อยคำของพระชนกผู้มีจิตใจยิ่งใหญ่นั้นแล้ว ก็ทรงแนะนำเยาวชนผู้รุ่งเรืองทั้งสอง และทรงประกาศว่าเป็นพระโอรสของท้าวทศรถ
