पञ्चदशः सर्गः — देवकृत-प्रार्थना, रावणवधोपायः, विष्णोः मानुषावतारनियोजनम्

भगवन्त्वत्प्रसादेन रावणो नाम राक्षस:।सर्वान्नो बाधते वीर्याच्छासितुं तं न शक्नुम:।।1.15.6।।
bhagavan tvatprasādena rāvaṇo nāma rākṣasaḥ |
sarvān no bādhate vīryāc chāsituṃ taṃ na śaknumaḥ ||1.15.6||
ข้าแต่พระภควาน ด้วยพระกรุณาโปรดของพระองค์ มีรากษสชื่อราวณะได้รับพลัง แล้วเบียดเบียนพวกเราทั้งปวงด้วยเดชานุภาพของตน; พวกข้าพระองค์ไม่อาจยับยั้งหรือปราบลงโทษเขาได้
